    TabTimes writes, Apple has become the most valuable company of all time, surpassing the previous record set by Microsoft back in 1999. Apple’s stock hit $664.74 on Monday morning trading, taking the firm’s overall value to $619 billion, a touch higher than the $618.9 billion recorded by Microsoft in December 1999. Claims of Apple now being the world's 'most valuable brand ever' can however be contested.
