The fresh US ban on exports of AI GPUs to China has sparked market speculation that the restriction may prompt Chinese clients to accelerate and increase shipment pull-ins for advanced GPUs from major suppliers Nvidia and AMD before a buffer period expires on September 1, 2023, according to industry sources.
