UMC orders facility equipment for Singapore site expansion

Pure-play foundry United Microelectronics (UMC) has purchased NT$6.49 billion (US$209.4 million) worth of facility equipment from L&K Engineering's branch in Singapore, according to a recent company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE).
