SMIC utilization rate hi by consumer electronics dependency

SMIC's 2022 fourth-quarter earnings call has revealed warning signs with drops in both gross margin and capacity utilization. The utilization of its wafer fabs has dropped below 80% in 4Q22. Since 1Q19, SMIC has maintained a high utilization rate of 90-100% for nearly four years, but that streak has now ended.
