No, we are not talking about the future. Flying Cars are here already!

We are talking about the Kitty Hawk Flyer. While you might not see a car flying over a big lake in Las Vegas soon, Kitty Hawk is one flying car that offers you the same amazing experience as the Mohegan Sun.

    All About Kitty Hawk

The company, owned by none other than Google's co-founded Larry Page, is offering a training facility for new flyers, with in-depth simulations that helps them learn all the basics of flying; from being able to control the altitude to working with the joystick for direction

Regular on-road cars will soon be history with the launch of flying cars, but the Kitty Hawk is here already making the world go up in the air (literally).

    Let's talk about the training

The training majorly focuses on rehearsing what happens if something goes wrong. The trainees learn the ropes, and helps potential pilots start their journey.

Love Simulation Games? You are sure to love the training!

The "Flying Cars' begins its training under a simple simulation computer game that teaches you about the two main controls to fly Kitty Hawk.

That's it. While the simulation game is designed to help you deal with your anxieties, we are sure you would love the flying experience to bits.

How to get out in case of emergency?

You don't need to worry when the skilled team of Kitty Hawk is by your side. Also, you get to learn how to come out of the car during an emergency. Once you are complete with the tutorial, you can be a proud driver of a ‘Flyer Car'!

All that you need to know about Kitty Hawk

Kitty Hawk weighs 250 lbs (113kg) making it an "ultralight" craft, within the US Federal Aviation Authority.

    Confused? It's actually good news!

This means you are not required to have a pilot's license. However, if you weigh more than 91kg, you would not be allowed to fly.

What Makes the Kitty Hawk Special?

There is plenty of things you would love, from the ten motors the the 10 individual propellers that makes it extremely easy to control. The company believes one day it could actually sell one of these flying cars for a price tag of $40,000-$50,000.

However, it does have certain disadvantages:

•The car is made for only one person - till now.

•You cannot fly with a speed greater than6 mph. Plus, there is only abattery backup of just 20 minutesand it's illegal to fly itover any congested areas, or at night.

•You also need awind speed of more than 10mphto be able to fly.

The concept of ‘Kitty Hawk is such a huge and exciting attraction in itself that the flaws can be overlooked until they are improved, as foreseen by the team. While we're still a long way from the massive experience, we can patiently anticipate for Kitty Hawk achieving its ultimate aim of eradicating traffic from our daily lives.
